New Delhi : On Sunday, Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, announced the establishment of a dashboard to enable sharing of technology best practices between centers and states.

The minister, who presided over the final session of the two-day ‘Central National Science Conclave’ held at Ahmedabad’s Science City, said a high-level mechanism would be developed by the science and technology sector to monitor and coordinate follow-up activities. of the conclave.

Singh also appointed a node officer for each state to coordinate and work with the special committee to know and share best practices.

The minister said the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Haryana were featured in this latest helicopter loading survey. “If the same technology was uploaded to the dashboard, other states would join in and share this CSIR technology, from source discovery to water treatment, benefiting millions of people across the country. .”

He added that this would also contribute positively to the Prime Minister’s goal of ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’ and ‘doubling the income of farmers’. It has been adopted by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to help harness groundwater for drinking purposes.”
