Haryana Governor Bandar Dattatreya, in partnership with the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), kicked off a two-day international conference on ‘Smart Packaging and Printed Electronics’ at the Deenbandhu Choturam College of Science and Technology (DCRUST) in Marshall on Sunday. Dattatreya said steps should be taken to make the country self-sustaining by establishing quality in the field of electronics and technology. Addressing domestic and international participants, Governor Bandar Dattatreya said that the business of smart packaging and printed electronics is growing rapidly in the country. According to estimates, India’s printed electronics market is expected to reach $780 million in 2021 and $3.11 billion by 2029.

“To make India a Vishwa Guru again, we must work together with complete integrity, social service and truth,” the governor said. Professor Rajendra Kumar Anayath, vice-chancellor, said the printing work as a technique to add ink to paper on a substrate is already done.
