The Hebron-Lakewood School Board approved a new pair of district administrators at its recent August meeting.
Richard Cooper was appointed Assistant Principal at Lakewood High School and Phil Jones was appointed Head of Technology at Lakewood Local School.

Since 2017, Cooper has been Vice Principal of the Principal Local Schools, first at Toll Gate Middle School and then at Pickerington Central High School. At Pickerington, he oversaw administrative management systems, discipline, staff evaluation, professional learning, and technology integration.
Prior to joining Pickerington, he served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at River Valley Schools from 2014-2017 and as Head of Music and Band Director at Centerburg Local Schools from 2005-16.

Jones came to Lakewood from Northern Local Schools where he was Technology Coordinator and Director. While there, he modernized the entire network infrastructure, planned and managed the installation and implementation of many critical systems, and implemented various remote learning and remote working his solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. .
Prior to joining Northern Local, he was an information technology manager and business owner in the private sector.
