Its one of the most expected fests in Canberra. Sunwaves kicks off countdown with a taste of Caribbean beats.

As time passes the city continues to innovate and be host of Australia’s best festivals. And this time is not the exception.

Organisers have labeled the event as “one of a kind in Australia” bringing together all forms of arts. Sunwaves, indoor street fest is in town to leave a memory to last for years.

Baha’s marketing agency Creative Agency Director Julian Bahamon said ” We have redefined the concept of a street fest. We can only say assistants will find a unique experience full of entertainment and excitement never seen before”. ” We brought surrealism and art together and fused it in a way they all become part of one show. ”

The event will showcase Canberra’s best produce including food trucks, wineries and breweries. A concept of a Cuban bar has also been developed to offer assistants Caribbean cocktails as the worldwide know mojito and cuba libre.

In terms of entertainment, a showcase of Canberra’s best kept vintage vehicles will be on site. Performances will be held in the festival just as you would see in the Caribbean. Monodramas, dancing professionals, and vintage visuals will be embellishing the event whilst you enjoy your cocktail and listen to fused beats.

Music will be performed by big bands with a mix of best electro swing, jazz, funk, and electro. “The whole intention is to bring assistants and make them part of the show. “As  the night begins, festival will turn into a street unprecedented party with DJs taking music to the next level of experience. ” The event will be full of surprises and assistants will be key part of the performances.” Mr Bahamon continues.

Sunwaves – Cuban Street Fest will be held at the Old Bus Depot the 22nd of April from the afternoon till late.
